Capture issue HDV and FCP
Using FCP v5.0.2, I’m having a capture issue:
When there is a camera start/stop in the middle of my capture it cuts off a few seconds of material.
For example, say my “in” point is
00.01.00.00
and my “out” point is
00.02.00.00
AND there is a start/stop somewhere in that one minute.FCP will:
1) make a new clip beginning where the start/stop is
2) NOT capture the first 2-3 seconds after the break.note: this is not a TC break, it is simply a camera start/stop.
The first issue doesnt really bother me, but the second does.Any insight?
Can this be fix in settings?Thanks!
