    Specifying handles only applied when you are decomposing a finished sequence into clips for batch digitizing at on-line resolution. This allows digitizing some pad to allow for trimming during the final on-line confor. If you are only creating a log from original source footage, just add the desired pad to you time code ins and outs.

    really….hmmm….I’m very surpirsed by this….

    Ok then….

    let me ask this question….

    What do you see as the fastest technique to log non contiguous shots?

    I found that subclipping on the fly during a capture works nicely, but it’s not great for non contiguous stuff because you end up capturing material you don’t want.

    I’d like to be able to mark roughly (as quick as I can tap a key) and then add some pad

    to make sure I didn’t miss anything….

    see what I’m getting at?

    Thx…
