  • Capture Defaulting to 8 Channels

I have a Mac Pro running FCS2 with a LHe Kona capture card. It always defaults to capturing 8 channels of audio when I 99% of the time only need one or two. Does anybody know anyway to make it not default to 8 channels? Thanks.

Duplicate and modify the capture preset.
Set 2 channels instead of 8.

I wish it was that easy when I pull up the window I have two options, 8 channels of 16bit audio or 8 channels of 24bit audio those are my only two options for audio.

    That’s in the Capture window.
Try with a new Capture Preset.

No, the one in the capture window is actually greyed out. I am talking about the one in the capture preset edit window.

Yes I can, It’s just there’s no option for only 2 channel input only eight.
