Capture Codec
I currently have a Kona3 Card and want to digitize footage using my AJ1400a DVCPROHD deck. It seems like I cannot pick what CODEC I want. Does anyone know something I don’t?

Premiere doesn’t have a lot of codecs to choose from. The “native” codec that it captures to is MPEG-2. You can’t capture to ProRes, or DNxHD. Not unless you capture with the AJA capture app…then bring that into Adobe.
