    Here’s the problem:
I’ve got about five hours Digi Beta PAL 4:3 footage of lectures that I need to output on DVD.
Usually I would capture 10 bit uncompressed for TV broadcast.
As I am new to the wonderful world of DVD authoring, I am not sure which codec would be best to use for capturing in this instance.
    Plenty of storage available.

    Thanks!

FCP HD, Dual 2GHz G5, X Serve Raid, AJA IO, 10-bit uncompressed, Beta SP and Digi Beta PAL

If you have plenty of storage available, there’s no penalty for going 10bit.

Thank you! That’s what I’ll do.
