capture clip issue
fcp 5, g5 dual 2Ghz lotsa ram, xraid 1Tb
when capturing a logged clip of 23 min, capture stops at 22 min. dialog box returns asking if i want to capture the clip.
the 22 min clip is captured, shows up in bin. we arrived at a workaround which is to log clip as 24 min and then we get the 23 we need.
has anyone experienced this bug? we have 4 fcp stations, all nearly identical. none of the other 3 have this problem. never heard of it before.
not a timecode break, we can capture the last minute on its own if we want with now prob. several tapes, same problem.

If it’s only showing up on one station, I’d venture a guess that this station needs it’s software reinstalled.

If anyone is still interested, the problem turned out to be linked to capture settings. It was set to capture 4 tracks of audio, but there were only 2 tracks on the tape. I’m not sure why, but when we turned off 3&4 the problem went away.
