  Capture canon D7 footage using HDMI output

  Hi all,

  Having all trouble that all of us know with H264 compress material for post production (color correction, etc…), i am wondering if anyone tried already to capture the footage of the D7 using a HDMI to SDI converter (like AJA HA5) and plug in the converter to a AJA Kona 3 card or using a MAtrox converter…. If HDMI output of D7 is still 1080p, we should solve problem in that way as material will be recorded with AJA codec or uncompress into the video RAID.

  Any comment about it?
