    Hi all,

I was using my Panasonic DVX100A camera to capture to Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. I heard some loud noises after each capture. The next time I turned on my camera, a tape was eaten (tape hanging out of the miniDV).

I try to play ANY tape in my camera now and all I get is blue screen. When I play a tape with the camera using Adobe Premiere, I get a still image with horizontal lines.

    1. Does anyone know what the problem is?
    2. Did I do something wrong in the capture to cause this?
    3. I’m going to buy a consumer MiniDV camera to capture today. Can you recommend one for $200-400?

    Thanks in advance,
    Elizabeth

Better save that money for the repair of the tape transport.

I have had tapes get tangled up in the transport and managed to remove all the tape (carefully) with tweezers and a light.
