  Capture a live camera in fcp question

  I have a Sony nxcam 5 and I’m trying to use it as a live camera and capture the image straight into fcp 7. I don’t have any problem in log and transfer capturing the video from a card. But how do I capture the picture from the camera into fcp? I am currently using the same cable (usb) that I use to capture the card video. Please help me…I’m drowning! Thanks
