capture 8-bit uncompressed sd prob
Posted by Cade Muhlig on March 5, 2007 at 9:43 pmi forgot what settings to use to capture sd 8-bit uncompressed. i use an hdv tape deck and a kona lhe card. can someone point me?

“capture preset must have a video or audio digitalizer set to capture. Please change to desired preset in the Audio/Video settings”i captured uncompressed not long ago, but now it gives me this?

Sequence Preset: AJA Kona LH-NTSC 8-bit Uncompressed.
Capture Preset: AJA Kona LH-NTSC 8-bit Uncompressed.
Device Control: HDV Firewire.If you cannot control the device via firewire, then you might have to go uncontrolled device. Just know that you will be lacking timecode of any usable kind, so if you lose the media, you are hosed.

March 6, 2007 at 12:17 ami knew it, theres no option for aja uncompressed. its not there. what did i do to get final cut to not recognized it?
