Captions and Menus
I need a second opinion and I’m hoping someone here can provide one.
I have a DVCAM tape of a program with captions on Line 21. I do not have a separate SCC file.
I want a DVD of the program with a regular menu and closed captions, but I am being told by the DVD Author that this is not possible. I can have one or the other but not both. I can have a DVD with NO menu but with the closed captioning OR I can have a DVD with a menu and NO closed captioning.
The DVD Author is using Encore from CS3.
Any advice, suggestions, recommendations or opinions are welcome.

He’s right…its not possible. You’ll need a SCC file.
