Hey, is there perhaps anyone out there that can help me what probably just a minor problem?
I have final cut pro 5.0 and I’m having trouble with viewing my image clearly. When pressing the zoom tab I noticed one of the option that say “show as sq pixels is enabled” and checked. Could this be the cause of me getting a pixellated image, which is different from my viewer window, if so how can I fix it? It use to display just fine but now its this blurry pixellated mess. Please help anyone.

The first thing you need to do is set your canvas to 100%. Any other setting other than that isn’t a representation of what your image resolution is.

As far as the square pixels thing, what type of footage are you editing?

[Sean Van Dorn] “now it too small in the window.”

Meaning it’s too small to see what’s happening? That’s SD for you. You don’t need to always have it at 100%, only when you’re trying to see the file at it’s native resolution.
