Canvas Window
Hey, is there perhaps anyone out there that can help me what probably just a minor problem?
I have final cut pro 5.0 and I’m having trouble with viewing my image clearly. When pressing the zoom tab I noticed one of the option that say “show as sq pixels is enabled” and checked. Could this be the cause of me getting a pixellated image, which is different from my viewer window, if so how can I fix it? It use to display just fine but now its this blurry pixellated mess. Please help anyone. -

The first thing you need to do is set your canvas to 100%. Any other setting other than that isn’t a representation of what your image resolution is.
As far as the square pixels thing, what type of footage are you editing?

well, I just set my set canvas to 100% however now it too small in the window. The footage is a football game.

Meaning it’s too small to see what’s happening? That’s SD for you. You don’t need to always have it at 100%, only when you’re trying to see the file at it’s native resolution.

Well I tried to export my final video as a quicktime file and it and converted it to dvd and it came out pixelated
