  • Canvas Window Does Not Display Unless Clip is Played

Posted by Ron Schotland on January 4, 2013 at 6:25 am

Ordinarily if a clip is activated on the timeline), and the cursor is allowed to play the clip, the canvas instantly displays. However, I find that when the cursor is at rest (and does not play the clip), the
canvas does not display. It is completely white. The canvas should display in both instances in order to permit editing.

Does anyone have any idea why the canvas does not display when the clip is not played, and how to correct this problem? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

You may have de Canvas set to display the Alpha Channel.
    Change it to RGB.
In the right one of the three buttons that are on to of the Canvas window.
