I just recently started my first HD project on FCP. I’ve uploaded all of the footage and am ready to start editing, but I have no canvas or timeline. In the window box they are both grayed out. I tried using a timeline from a different project and it worked, only I had to render everything before I could start cutting. I think the two seperate formats are causing this problem. Please get back to me ASAP with some help. Thank you so much!!!!!

    Name the sequence.

    Double click the sequence.
