Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Can’t view iPhone video in Vegas

    Good suggestions, thanks. I downloaded the trial version and yeah, it seems to do the trick. Now I’ll just have to decide if I want to spend $100 to edit iPhone movies this way or go the full upgrade route.

    So any ideas on how I can get a Vegas 9 upgrade for a reasonable price?

    Keep your software up to date by purchasing it during the initial release discount period. It’s usually never cheaper than the first few months it comes out. Otherwise the standard upgrade is US$234.95 for the download version.

    I know this thread is old but I was having the exact same problem. Solved it by uninstalling Quicktime 7.6.6 that I was running and installing and older version, 7.6.4.

    Worked like a charm. Downloaded the older version from here:

    Hope this helps someone else who may run into this.

    you could adjust iPhone MOV/MP4 to a more editing-friendly format, like MPEG-2 for vegas pro
