  Can’t stop pre-rendering

  Hi all, having a bit of a problem:

  I’ll press zero on my numberpad to prerender from the current position, and when the green bar has reached a suitable distance on the timeline, I usually click the mouse or press a key to play what has pre-rendered.
  For some reason, all of today, every time I pre-render a section, the green bar just keeps growing. No amount of clicking will make it play back, it just keeps prerendering more frames.

  Any idea what could be causing that? I’m on CS4 9.01 on a Nehalem 8 core Mac Pro. 6Gb RAM, no cache folder.

  Been using After Effects since 6.5, and haven’t had anything like this before.
