  • Can’t speed ramp a reverse speed clip…..

Posted by Olivier Prudhomme on September 15, 2014 at 5:43 pm

I have a clip that I want to reverse and then apply a speed ramp to.
When I apply the Reverse effect and then try to Opt-drag Timewarp it’s a weird experince happening in the motion editor with the keyframing. Nothing like when applying Timewarp w/o reverse

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks

Try doing it all in the same effect. Apply the timewarp effect and set speed to -100 (type it in at the bottom of the graph) This will now be a reverse motion you can ramp back to 0 or + (forward).

You may need to trim head and tail to get expected original start and end.
