Activity Forums Adobe Media Encoder Can’t size video width to 2069

    Anyone ever encounter this? I can create my comp at a width of 2069 in After Effects but cannot render it out to that width in Media Encoder. It defaults to 2068 in AME. If I manually type in 2069, it goes back to 2068. Maddening. Little help?

    With MP4, you must choose an even number of pixels. Odd numbers don’t work since the software works on groups of pixels that contain at least 4 pixels. There are some formats that don’t care if the pixels are even, but it’s generally a good workflow principle to follow anyway.

    Thanks, Andy. I recall hearing something like that in my earlier days of learning about video formats. I guess that’s a rule that never changes.
