    Hi All,

I am not a regular FCP user. My editor is working with FCP 7 and in order to prepare for him, I am also working with 7. I recently had to have FCP7 re installed. Now when I try to start up, instead of getting the message to choose where to set capture and scratch disk, as i want to assign this to an external drive, I get External A/V pop up and it just says that it is unable to locate the drive and then says your system configuration may have changed….etc….

I believe this must have been changed when the tech re installed ..but i don’t know how to change it back….

if i just hit continue i get an error saying that my disk is almost full and i need to free up space

can anyone tell me how to get this re set?…

    thanks…k

Go into Capture Settings and reset all of the settings to a source drive with space available. I believe it also gives you that option when you get the original error message you entered?
