    Hello All,

    We have media 100 I 8.2.2 on a G4, and After effects etc running on a G5.
We have multiple firewire drives, some connected to each computer but
everything is networked together. Until this evening I have not had any trouble,
however I now can’t seem to import clips I’ve rendered in after effects back into Media 100.
The projects are all on the same external drive.
Media 100 says it’s importing and the progress bar moves along as it usually does,
but when it completes there is nothing in the bin.
I tried impoprting some older clips from another project stored on the same drive and they
import fine. I then re-rendered a portion of the current project but again it won’t import.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Are you sure all your AE settings are correct? Frame rate, size, codec, color-depth, everything? Does the clip look okay in QuickTime player? What does QT player say about the clip in terms of Codec, frame-rate and size? Does Media 100 do a fast-import (“updating media file”) or a slow import? Are you importing from FireWire or from the Network? Does the clip that shows the problem have a QuickTime icon or a Media 100 icon?

    Thanks For Getting Back Floh.
The problem was with the Network. I reconfigured and everything seems fine now.

    Thanks Again.
