    Hi again!

I’m Leo, from Brasil, so you can notice that my english is not so good. Sorry.

Well, I’m trying to capture a BlueRay disk into my Mac, by the HDMI input, but can’t see any image. The screen stays black.
Does someone know which preset i have to use? I tried many diferent presets and nothing happens. I’m using FinalCut 7

    Thanks again,

    Leo

You can’t. The hdmi output of the bluray player is protected by HDCP.

Hi Shaun, thanks for you answer!

But, even with “non comercial” BlueRays discs? Discs burned with desktops recorders?

    Leo.

It is hardware (in the hdmi on the player), not the software (disc).

Oh… there’s a way to work with this material? My client send me a video burned in a BlueRay, and I need to work with that.

    Hello Leonardo,
the best thing to do would be to RIP the blu ray disk, using one of the free and/or shareware tools available on the web, just google “blu ray ripper free” and you will have to choose only.

    Ciao,
