I have 6.1 drivers on WinXP and when I render to Blackmagic AVI I can only see them in Premiere. Not Windows Media Player, Combustion, AE. This is a real big problem. Anyone have any ideas on this? I wrote to tech support and never got a reply.

    Thanks.

    Hi Dean,

I’m not familiar with this problem. Would you please experiment with rendering to the Blackmagic 8 bit and 10-bit AVI codecs and also to the Blackmagic Motion JPEG codec. Now try these files in other applications and let me know what you find. It’s weird as I haven’t heard of other reports of this.

When I installed the V6 drivers I no longer had the option of rendering at 8 bit. I only have the option for 10bit. Mjpeg seems to work fine but that is of no use on this project. Premiere seems to read and write the files fine. I render out of Combustion (Blackmagic AVI 10bit) and Premiere is fine with it but Combustion can’t read it back in. When I tried to open the rendered files in After Effects it started to open then went black. Very strange and very bad. Help!
