  • Can’t see bitmap textures or procedural shaders in viewport

Hi, since a few days (no hardware or software changes) I can’t see bitmap or procedural noise textures in viewport anymore. I see color, specular etc. but not textures. Actually as I load a project I see them for a few seconds then they disappear. Display, Options, Filter options are as usual (Textures is checked, Layer Color unchecked etc.). Where is “the button”?
    Thank you
    C.

Look in the Options menu on top of your viewport (View-Cameras-Display-Options-Filter-Panel) and make sure Textures is activated.

Thanks for your reply but as I said Options/Textures is activated, any other hint?

Hmm, not sure what else it could be. I would try turning off OpenGL in preferences to see if that makes any difference. Only thing I can think of is maybe an OGL driver issue.

This is what I was trying, I Ctrl+Shift on start to restore default settings but now OpenGL checkbox is unchecked and grayed out 🙁 and textures don’t show.
Anyway, if you think there’s no other “button” to show up textures I’ll move on this direction, maybe with a new installation

For anybody interested: reinstalling Cinema 4D alone didn’t work, I had to reinstall graphic card drivers and now is working
