  • Can’t save Filter presets

Posted by Ronan Jones on August 1, 2008 at 10:12 am

I’m using Vegas 7.0 and I’ve noticed a weird thing happening when I try to save a certain preset.

basically when I try and save the FILM EFFECTS filter with my presets it soesn’t save. The icon beside that particular filter appears yellow as opposed to green like all the other ones.

I can save any other filter just not this one..

    Thanks,

    Ronan

Can you render the clip with this modified effect? Or is (pre) rendering also not possible?

    Ronan,

The icon that appears yellow beside it, is indicating that it does
    not support multithreaded rendering.
And the absence of the green icon tells that it does support floating
point processing. You can read through the help files for further clarity of these features.
Did anything different occurred when saving the preset…or…you saved it and it just doesn’t show up at the bottom of the preset
    listings?

    listings? ‘
