  • Can’t resize video window on “Color” workspace

Posted by Duke Sweden on January 10, 2017 at 8:21 pm

I see that DaVinci Resolve FINALLY works on a graphics card other than Nvidia, Intel 3D Graphics, no less!

Only problem I’m having, on the “Color” window the video is too small. I can resize it by width but not by height. The windows on all the other workspaces are fine.

    HELP!

What resolution UI are you trying to work with?

Hey, thanks for responding. I started with 1920×1080, then 3840×2160. No difference.

I think Joseph meant your OS display resolution.. not timeline.

As it happened, and remember, I’m an amateur, I do this for fun, so don’t laugh, but I have been using a 720p HDTV as a PC monitor. Yesterday I hooked up a 1080p HDTV (both are 32″) and now the display looks the same as in the tutorials.

    Thanks for responding. Cheers!

Resolves restrictive sizing rules drive me crazy. You can expand this but not that. Just give me floating windows already, and let me save out some workspace settings! I use dual ultra-wides and would love to customize my workspace.

couldn’t agree more Glenn… that FCPX style work space is often very constricting. I’d love a big node window.

Instead of trying to resize, click the ones (circled red) to your choose required panels to work with. Hope it helps.
