  • Can’t resize UI window

Hello, I’m working with Pr 2019 on an underpowered Macbook Air (away from home) and the project windows come up too big, particularly the height. I can’t resize the window to fit on my screen cause I can’t get the cursor onto the bottom edge.
Not the green dot issue — that still leaves too much of the UI off and below the screen.

This might have happened when I plugged in a TV as monitor — but that’s disconnected and I’ve restarted. The Macbook Air is set at maximum and appropriate resolution for the display.

The Welcome screen is fine, but when I open any old or new project window it falls off the bottom of the screen.

    What’s the magic needed here?
    Thanks,
    Robert

SOLVED! By resetting preferences and fiddling a bit more.

Yep. Trash the prefs. Also, I would save a custom layout. I have one for dual monitor and single monitor. When I need to, I revert to it.

    Thanks, Todd.
How do you trash the prefs in Resolve?
