  can’t render?

  hi so this is driving me crazy and im sure its a really simple fix, just bear in mind this is my very first week using C4D and i’m having trouble rendering my file… when i go to render view i get this patten background with my object sort of transparent for some reason, then i tried rendering it out and i only god the “pattern” but not my object, i’ve been trying for hours with no luck so far 🙁

  can anyone please provide any help? i checked the settings and they’re the usual as i’ve rendered stuff before so i have no idea what’s going on
