Can’t render out a video to match the preview window?
Hi guys, i’m currently editing someone else’s gopro footage, with a frame rate I have never worked with before. It seems to be in 30.006i. (I usually only edit footage shot at 25fps and in 1920×1080 so have no exeprience with this new frame rate)
Some of it was also filmed vertically (portrait), which I have put into a separate project and am trying to make it look like it was filmed horizontally. (landscape)
So what I have done is zoomed in on the portrait footage using the event crop/pan button, and now it fits the preview screen perfectly, and horizontally. I am happy with the result and now want to export it as an mp4, so I can then take it back into another project and add it to the originally filmed landscape footage.
The problem is, every time I try to render it out to mp4, it squashes the footage and black bars appear around it in the preview window as it renders.
Does anyone know why this happens, and how I can rectify it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
