  • Can’t render hair!

Sometimes the program doesn’t render when I use hair. It’s rendering fine if I shut it of. Why? And why can’t I move hair that’s rendering fine? Only the axis moves… And no I don’t have the object axis tool selected 😉 😛

    Thanks
    Anton

    Memory? …but no idea really

Hair grows from an object, I’ve never tried to separate it from the object it’s growing on. If you want the hair without the object then hide the object in the editor and renders and move the object, the hair will follow that.

    Hmm I don’t think I have a lack of memory, I have 2048MB RAM and a X2 3800+ CPU… It’s just that the hair is rendering fine sometimes :S

I figured out that the hair tag wasn’t a child of the object XD That’s why I couldn’t move it :S

    Thanks for your reply 🙂
