    I can’t render.
You know the flash of the render window you see when you tell your sequence to render and it’s already rendered? That’s what I see when I tell it to render. Problem is I’m not rendered.
I tried selecting an unrendered portion and hitting ‘render selection’…nothing.
    I tried command-R…nothing.
    I tried render only…nothing.
I recently had to trash my preferences and I changed my scratch disk at the same time (not to a new drive, but to my usual drive). Did I screw something up when I did that?
    Thanks!

Yep. You need to re-set all your Render Prefs. Go to Sequence > Render All (and Render Selection). You need to reset those parameters.

I’m not sure how to reset the parameters. I’ve gone to the render menu and unchecked and rechecked everything that’s checkable. I’m not sure what else i can do there.

Try trashing your Preferences AGAIN (then “re-Checkmark” all of the Render selections) and see if that bring you back to life.

    That did the trick.
    Thanks!

24 hours later it happened again. And again, trashing prefs fixed it…but this is getting old quick.
