Can’t rename layers
No matter how many times I click on a layer I can’t rename it.
It can be named when creating it but you can’t change it or anything when you click on it.Am using after effects 7.0

Click layer once, then press enter, rename layer, press enter again.
This should work. -
Highlight the layer and hit return.

Just to clarify, be sure to use the Return key, not the Enter key on the numeric keypad.

It worked…..For some reason I spent like 3 hours clicking and clicking and clicking and got nothing till the point of no return.
They should make it one click…
