can’t remove 3:2 pulldown
I have several individual 1280×720 HD shots @ 59.94fps, that I need to rotoscope and add FX to.
They were originally shot at 24p.
However, After Effects can’t seem to guess the pulldown, and I can’t do it manually with the various pulldown schemes.
(I verified that the footage does have 3:2 pulldown, by stepping thru it.)
It’s very weird. It just doesn’t seem to want to come out. Them’s some stubborn redundant frames.

Found a MUCH easier solution:
Take the 59.94 footage into a 23.976 comp.
Presto. No pulldown.
When all is said, done and After Effected, render it back out at 59.94.
