I finished editing with proxies. With „p“ in the file name. But I cannot relink them in the usual way. I only can do a forced relink clip by clip. But I have hundreds of clips. How to solve this? What can be the problem?

    Hello Aldo,

may I ask how the proxies were generated in the first place? Are you using the Media Management tool to relink to the original files? If so, how are you doing that?

    Cheers!

Proxy files must have the same file name and timecode. There are many ways to do proxy workflows which work effortlessly to relink. Given you have broken the naming, I can suggest you rename a copy of your original files to add the “p”. Software like Advanced Renamer for Windows will allow you to batch change hundreds of files to add the extra to the name. Obviously you should have at least two backups of you camera originals so do it to one of the copies only to see if this fixes the issue
