  cant RAM REVIEW for more then 3 seconds

  I am using a quad core mac, with 2 GB ram, if I choose to ram preview at full quality, it only does 3 seconds of video, but if I RAM PREVIEW at a quarter quality resolution, it does more time.

  is this because I dont have alot of ram, or because of a setting thats wrong in AE?
