Cant play video in composer window
I cant play the video preview in the composer monitor window. Sometimes it works when I turn off the dualscreen on the graphic-card. It Only works when i drag the marker manualy. I got Avid Xpress Pro HD verson 5.1.6. The software and the hardware is brand new. I can se the video playing on the external monitor, but not the one in composer window in Avid.
Is there a setting or a fix to solve this problem?
Do other got the same problem?

Can you see video in the preview monitor at all but it just won’t play? If so, make sure that you don’t have any other window open in the bin monitor that is touching the composer window.

Hi there, had the same problams as you, where i couldent see video in the composer window.
I dont know what kind of videocard u have, but i have nvidia qaadro fx 1400. I fixed this problem by going to the display settings on this card, choosing performance & quality settings – choose “advanced settings” and under here i chhose the setting “single-display mode” insteda of “multi-display mode”. This worked on one computer, on some others i had to change the settings on the “overlay settings”.Hope u can fix it 🙂
