Can’t open preferences
Hello,
For some reason, I can’t open preferences in after effects cc2019 (PC). When I go edit > preferences and click general or any other option everything is greyed out and I am unable to click anything as if the window were open but it does not appear. It’s not behind any other windows, I have tried changing to every other layout and have uninstalled and reinstalled after effects. Any help would be appreciated!

Try resetting your preferences. Close After Effects, then hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift while starting Ae.
