Cant open background

What type of image are you trying to load? particleIllusion does not support every image format available.

I think I understand. Are you trying to open it through the “file -> Open” command?

That’s used to open pillusion files, not images.

To import an image do the following:

In the layer window (Top Left), double click on the gray box – it will open a dialog asking you to locate the BG image you want to import.

I am doing that, Using the layers window, and it says ‘Unsupported File Format’ no matter which image I use

I don’t think you have a complete installation. I recommend reinstalling.
