can’t master to tape
I am trying to master to tape – I have a 54 min program that I want to put on a dv tape via PD170 camera. This is the first time I’ve tried doing this since upgrading from 8.2.3 to 12.7. Version 8.2.3 was so much simpler and no problems.
I’ve gone into preferences and selected Firewire under video output.
Master dialog box, I’ve tried selecting “source” and “firewire” on the bottom. Neither seems to work.
Box comes up “Do you really want to master this non-drop frame program with the deck set to drop frame?” If I select “yes”, the duration window flashes and then nothing happens.Can someone please tell me how to get this to work?……thank you.

Found the reason…..Device Control – Machine Control: “no machine control”
