I decided to do a fresh reboot of my computer to factory settings and forgot what a pain it is to reinstall Adobe products and make everything work.

Right now, I’m trying to apply an edit to a clip–won’t work. By “add an edit” I mean like in any editing program where you COMMAND+V or whatever the equivalent is, and wherever you are in your timeline, it splits that clip in two. Right now I have to use the razor tool for every single edit and it’s becoming quite tedious.

I’m not sure what the issue is. It is currently doing this to all video files. I spam my shortcut (Shift+V) and it does nothing. It will however cut solo audio tracks (like a song) but won’t cut the audio that is linked to the video, and even after unlinking them. What’s going on?

Tried doing it on a text “title” video file as well. Can’t. Seems I can’t make any cuts in the video track???
