Can’t link to .mov
Stephen Bodossian
May 21, 2020 at 6:02 amHello,
Mid project, I updated to 2020.4. Before updating, I had linked to and edited .mov’s
but now after updating to 2020.4, they’re giving me problems. I’ve been trying to export an AAF and was getting an error, so I figured out that the error is because of one section where the .mov’s are. I click on them, go to Source Browser and see in the plugin column “can’t be linked”.Do I need to import them and re-edit those .mov’s? Avid technician suggested that files are corrupt but I don’t know how to tell if that’s true.
Thank you!

May 21, 2020 at 6:55 pmThe AMA linking is using a different architecture in 2020.4. You may need to relink manually selecting the new AMA plug-in.
