Can’t let sleeping drives lie.
Ok, I’m working in final cut pro with three external Firewire Lacie Drives. Playback is making me mental as the disks don’t wake up in time when the program needs to access them and I have to start playing over at least once.
Is there a way to keep them alert and ready while I’m working in FCP?
This is really getting irritating, any help would be VERY much appreciated.

System Prefs > Energy Saver > Turn everything to NEVER and UNcheck “Put hard drives to sleep when possible.”
