Please: Can’t launch Pan/Crop Tool Vegas Pro 10
Everything was working fine but then Vegas stopped working and crashed. Upon re-opening auto-saved project, I couldn’t open the Pan/Crop Tool. I clicked on the tool icon in the clip…no go, went to the drop-down menu for it…same deal… No Workie.

I’ve looked everywhere…can’t seem to see anything on the task bar, the window isn’t hidden underneath anything. I’m stumped.
Saved / Exited / Re-started computer. Opened last saved project.
    Still Pan/Crop No Workie… HELP!!

    Thanks,

    Chaz

Hold down ctrl and shift while Vegas is starting.
This will reset Vegas and hope your problem will be fixed.

Thanks for the tip , Steve. I did as you explained. Still no luck in opening the Pan/Crop Event function. So I basically clicked the items in my layout and dragged them out one at a time to see if there was anything hidden in the layout.

What I did notice eventually was a tiny…(I mean tiny) window outside of the work area. Not sure if it was there before all this; anyways… this tiny window was among my desktop shortcuts which are few but lined up at the edge of my monitor. I placed my mouse on it and expanded it…sure enough…it was the PAN/CROP EVENT WINDOW!!!

Sonofagun!!! I swear I didn’t see it there before but who knows??? It might’ve been lurking there before I did the SHIFT/CTL on Vegas Open.
Oh well, I’m back to where I was so thanks for your response.
