Hi from damn freezing cold York UK…

Ok well the above link illustrates my problem but here goes… I have a very small gap (Maybe 2 frames) I’m trying to stitch up / join together. But when I lasso the footage and but it up / join / meld i get the little white triangle (damn this stuff is hard to explain)> i think ok its joining up but then oh sh@t its still got a tiny gap. Its as if as soon as i release my mouse the damn gap re appears.

So my question is please… Is there another way to join up / muse footage rather that using the lasso method?

    Thanks,
    David

Zoom all the way in, select the gap, and press SHIFT+DEL on the keyboard. That is the shortcut for “ripple delete”. It should eliminate the gap, while moving everything to the right of that point on the timeline with it.

Make sure you have all tracks selected that you wish to follow the move, and unselect those you do NOT wish to follow the move.

Ripple effect always greyed out 🙁

    This link illustrates the pain:

From intense Google action I can see that I have to lock audio tracks or something this is do but ripple delete is always greyed out!

    Any insights welcome 🙂
