    Hi.

So I used to work with Vegas a while back and I had no problems with it, but recently I’ve been trying and I can’t import any videos inside the program.

It is NOT a codec issue since I have all sorts of codecs installed in my computer and I used to be able to work with similar media before. They are raw .avi videos from a game I’ve been trying to work with.

I can only import the audio, not the video. I’ve had the same problems with my Adobe After Effects copy so I think it might be something to do with the computer.

Has anyone had the same problem before and managed to fix it? Because it’s awful to buy an excellent editor and not be able to use it.

    Thank you.

The only solution I can think of is to convert it to a mpeg. I have OJO Soft Video Converter. And it works great!
I use this since I can’t import AVI into Sony Vegas 9.0 pro, straight from the video camera I use.

A solution from someone else would be appreciated ;).

It worked! Thank you very much. I’m not using OJO, though, because it’s a paid software and I don’t feel like spending money on video conversion. I’m using WinAVI Video Converter from before it was paid.

It’s working well with MPEG, I owe you one! 🙂
