So i downloaded a newer version of QuickTime, and i think that’s the reason why it stopped to work to import .mov quicktime files to “Sony Vegas 8C pro buildt 260” that i got.

When i import a file with .mov in end (which my videocamera does) it just becomes black.
When i was reinstall the QuickTime it become up an error that said something about i don’t have the right quicktime version with components or something, and told me to download it on theirs site, which i actually did.

But still its just black, with no sounds when importing the .mov files.

But it also works to put in these .mov files into After Effects with no problems.

So i don’t know whats wrong.

I guess its some sort of plugin from the QuickTime i need, to make it work in Sony Vegas?

Have tried to do ‘time machine’ (i got a Windows XP, but idk what its named here, just on mac its called time machine).
So i turned back 1 week.
But still Sony Vegas didn’t work.

Have tried reinstall QuickTime and Sony Vegas a couple of times etc.
    Still not working.

    That would do it 🙁
The only cure that I know of is to do a google search for QuickTime version 7.6.4 as it will work with both Vegas and iTunes (if it’s installed on your computer).

    Hmm, well.
I went to my dads old stationare PC where i got exactly same version which actually was working. So i tranfered over the quicktime map and the sony map and replaced them on my computer.

Then i tried, and it do works to import the .mov files now 😀
Hope it doesn’t make problems by replace them like that, when it have been installed on another machine.
But i don’t think it would make much sense? Works so far.
