    Hello,

I captured video from Canon HV30 to Sony Vegas Platinum 9b.
I rendered the file and everything worked fine.

However, I can’t use the captured m2t file in another project?
If I change the extension to mpg I can play the file, but Vegas will not import it???

What method(s) are you using to import it? And what, specifically, happens when you try?

    Rob,

    I tried import media.
I tried selecting it in Vegas explorer.
I tried dragging it from the file explorer.

I tried changing the extension. (VLC and the CyberLink player play fine.)

Vegas says it is an unsupported file format.

This isn’t just one capture file, all my capture files have the same problem???
