    Hi,

I have an issue importing AVCHD footage into Premiere Pro CS4. The footage is AVC Intra, recorded on P2 using a Panasonic P2 deck. The file structure is intact and media browser sees the thumbnails and metadata, but when I go to import a clip I get the error ‘Unsupported format or damgaed file’. Please don’t tell me Premiere only supports the consumer variant of AVCHD and not intra.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,

    Daniel

AVCHD and AVC-I are different formats. currently the 4.1 update doesn’t support AVC-I without a third party plug-in, but if you wait AVC-I support is coming shortly.
