Can’t get voice over to work
Hola,
I cannot get a signal into the voice over tool in FCP HD. I have my mic plugged into channel 2 of the IO, turned off external monitoring, and I get no signal. What gives?

The inputs on the Io are line level. Do you have a mixer or mic preamp between the mic and Io? If not I suggest an inexpensive mixer such as a Behringer or Mackie.
