Can’t get “reveal in project” to work
Hi,
Am I the only one who can’t get “reveal in project” to work? I need to find my in and out points for clips I have dragged onto the timeline, but when I click “reveal in project” it simply highlights the original file where I dragged the clip from, which helps me none as this footage is typically 1 hour long, and the clip I am lokoing for is 4seconds or so.
How can I reveal the actual properties of a clip to enable me to go get that exact point in the original source footage?

I may not understand the question, however, if you doubleclick on the clip in the sequence, it will put it into the Source monitor and clearly show the in/out points.
Or, if you select the clip in the sequence and press the T key it will do the same thing except that the CTI will be in exactly the right place.

Ha! Wonderful! The T key is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks! I’ve been trying to find this solution for ever.
Is there someplace I can find a list of all the magic keys that do cool tricks like this?

All kidding aside, I would take a browse through all of the keyboard shortcuts in the Keyboard Customization settings to make sure you understand each and every one. It is a great way to learn.
