  can’t get preview on external monitor in 6.0

  I’ve got the firewire cable plugged into my dv camera but do not see playback when I click the “preview on external monitor” button on the video preview menue. The camera shows up as being connected in the “preview device” prefrences listing. Have gone through all the menue settings in the camera looking for a picture via firewire input.
